Jann & Kelly Owners of Jann Marie Bridal

Lifelong friends with entirely different skill sets, Jann Marie Meads and Kelly Brooke Bryan grew up in Southern California. After braving middle school and high school together, they lived next door to each other in college.

Jann has spent the past ten years designing and sewing custom wedding gowns. After years of working with brides, she understands how to make women look and feel stunning on their wedding day. She is a true artist and entrepreneur, and is passionate about creating a wedding gown line that's made in the U.S.A.

Kelly moved to the east coast after college and managed a portfolio of early stage tech investments at a boutique angel firm. She grew to love the process of building something from the ground up, and joined a retail technology company managing operations and revenue strategy. She's a musician and avid traveler, and is enthusiastic about building a socially responsible brand.

When Jann got married in 2013, she naturally designed and created her own wedding dress. A year later Kelly received her custom wedding dress made by Jann from 2,000 miles away. In 2015 Jann and her husband moved to Washington, DC where Kelly and her husband were living. After years of independently developing valuable skills, they went from friends to business partners in order to pursue their dream of launching Jann Marie Bridal. Together they have the experience to design for every woman, and the business experience to scale.

Jann & Kelly Owners of Jann Marie Bridal

Jann Marie Bridal designs are inspired by the world around us. Rock climbing in Moab National Park or wandering the souks of Marrakech, we are constantly inspired by nature and culture that surrounds us. We passionately believe that brides don't need to compromise comfort to be beautiful. Jann Marie Bridal intentionally designs effortless gowns for the bride who wants to be free to move, breathe, and be fully present on her wedding day. We make traditional dresses unique and modern while maintaining a classic silhouette. There are no built in corsets or bra cups, and minimal boning. Our gowns are purposely made to be worn easily with minimal alterations.

Our collection is manufactured in the heart of San Francisco, California. All unused fabric and scraps are donated, recycled and redistributed in order to divert waste materials from landfills.

We have had the time of our lives designing, sourcing, and launching this line, and are so happy to share it with you!
